The information management solution is unique to each organisation. Our experience and adaptive approach helps ensure the solution meets the needs of each individual organization. Figure 1 summarises the process and key tasks involved.
Figure 1 : Delivering an Information Management Solution
During Project Definition the initial understanding of the requirements is reviewed and adapted. Workshops or interviews with key business representatives are often used to arrive at clear definitions for requirements, inputs and relevant business processes. Following successful completion, the solution is designed and documented along with agreed project acceptance criteria to measure success.
Once the solution is well understood and the design signed off, the Project Execution phase begins. The solution is built, tested and deployed. User buy-in is achieved through close involvement in the whole process. On completion, the solution is formally handed over and the project reviewed to identify opportunities for improvements and subsequent steps as part of the Project Delivery phase.
Throughout the project, close management and control is maintained by adherence to well-established processes and procedures.
A clear understanding of how to use it, and where and how to get help, when needed, are key to the successful adoption of any solution. We provide the required training and skills transfer as well as support as key elements of the overall process.
